01 Is the COVID19 RT-PCR test covered by insurance?
Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, patients are entitled to reimbursement for the cost of COVID19 testing from their insurance company. However, tests performed for use in any form of travel (domestic, international) are not covered under insurance.
02 Why do you charge for COVID19 RT-PCR testing?
To carry out the RT-PCR test for travel, we incur a cost as well as overhead expenses, especially with the shorter turnaround time tests. As a result, we have to charge you for the tests performed at our facility to sustain our business.
03 Can I pay onsite?
Yes, you are able to pay onsite at the facility or online on our website while booking your appointment.
04 Can I pay for someone else’s test?
Yes, you are able to pay for someone else’s tests while onsite at the facility.
05 Is an appointment needed?
While we encourage you to book an appointment online through our website, we do allow walk-in customers at all hours of business. However, you might encounter some short amounts of waiting time before the medical assistant is able to process you.
06 What happens if I miss my appointment?
If you have missed your appointment, you are able to book another appointment at a convenient time for you at no extra charge. However, if you would like to cancel an appointment in-advance, we advise you to do it prior to the appointment time at no extra charge as well.
07 If I cancel my appointment, will I get a refund?
If you have paid online and have cancelled your appointment before its due, you will be refunded in-full. Kindly call our office for further instructions.
08 Can I get my test done in the car or do I need to come into the facility?
For most tests, you would have to come into the facility for providing the test sample. However, for COVID19 RT-PCR test, we can have a medical assistant come up to your car to perform the test.
09 Is your facility CLIA compliant?
Yes, our facility is CLIA compliant.
10 Do you take HSA for payment?
Yes, we accept HSA cards for payments.
